SK has denied this resource to its competitors. For free.
They will never sign away the rights to that becuase it costs them nothing but can be perceived to improve their ( SK’s ), position relative their peers.

It is a heads SK wins, tails AUZ loses situation at the moment.

A question we might ask is ‘can AUZ get out of that zero return contract without being hammered in court by SK?’ SK has an overwhelmingly stronger cash position & so if it such a situation developed & they wanted to they could tie up a court case until AUZ went bankrupt.
If AUZ could get out of that ‘commitment’ ( hey mate I’ll give you the rights to something I don’t yet have for money that you haven’t yet paid! ), that would be the only way forward.

Hope for the best. Prepare for the worst. The best is finance that still may not improve the comparative value here. The worst is something not very nice for any holder at all.

The Directors of course can always walk away having basically no money of their own tied up- then they could all just blame each other when applying for a job somewhere else.

They could all blame BB & then he could blame Starbucks? Who will holder’s loved ones blame?
I have a fair idea. ( yes, I am talking from experience as I’ve come home with magic beans back in the Dotcom bubble myself ).

Sconi a necessity to the planet? I always remember a saying when I hear things like that-
‘The Stone Age didn’t end because people ran out of stones’.
I can’t think of any ‘age’ that ended because of lack of materials- let’s all note that the ‘Horse Age’ will outlast the ‘ICE age’ because it still offers a unique/inherent value that can not be found elsewhere.

I’d say the ‘horse age’ will completely outlive the ‘ICE age’ & could theoretically even outlast the EV but EV’s will be around after the vast majority ( excluding museum etc collections ), ICE cars are gone.

Bigger, cheaper & better managed deposits could very well come on line before Sconi does & that’s why if I was a holder I’d be sending a message off to plead with management to focus solely on Sconi. It’s almost a Princess Leia & R2-D2 moment... ‘please Sconi 1, you are our only hope’.
