That's correct.
They go into a halt. Send out the announcement via the ASX to inform the market and then talk to the conference and tell them the great news.
Another stock I hold did exactly that and went gang busters and was the talk of the town at the conference!!!!
Its optimistic I know, but you never know. We still have time........
