Several moving parts and it would be only reasonable to expect frequent updates from the company, I held this share in the past and bought a few on a punt at 95 but the company really need to get info out there,
How many cattle have been killed , or even a best guess or estimate ?
What are growing conditions for the grass, did the rain all run off quickly or is most the moisture retained ?
What are the expected feed implications going forward ?
What is the impact on the remaining herd ?
If 10% of the herd is killed and cattle prices are up 15% and feed costs down 20% then clearly things are not so bad but if the herd is 20% dead , cattle prices not effected and all the feed is ruined and buildings uninsured and cost 100m to fix than thats the other end of the spectrum, not updating the market just enables those in the know an unfair advantage .....
