Perhaps someone with past knowledge of actual trading mechanics knowledge can provide an answer to this:

Like all stocks SFG is being affected by Bot trading (and I'm convinced this has nothing to do with company management). I'm of the view it creates an uneven and unfair playing field between bigger investors and the retail investor (which ASX Ltd seems to believe is acceptable and legal - I believe it's unfair and should be outlawed!). But that's the situation we are faced with.

IMO with SFG this type of trading has managed to put a fairly tight band of trading in recent weeks. The BOTS seem to have more recently been taking bites at 11.5 cents, trying to coerce possible sellers to sell (at 11.5 cents).

My question is: does the BOT infer a big trader is involved (which assumedly requires a sophisticated trading algorithm being involved). Or can it be done by relatively small traders via a broker?

I'm of the view someone is trying to force out as much stock at 11.5 cents before the next announcement and push upwards to price!
    Any views?
