I think i am wrong about my last post so apologies to shrips. 'Colonial first state' aka 'aventeos' was holding prior to Ausmin's 3b
And yes Ausmin were allocated 189m shares yet the substantial holder notice was for 172m.
So they may have allocated the remaining 17,236,111 shares as play money. Fair enough.
Hard to connect any new top 20 account holders to that balance so may have let go of at least half if not all.
Obviously all speculation and whether or not Hartleys is their broker, they could well be. Tad funny if they are.

In terms of substantial shareholders - Hartleys they are just a broker, part lead Manager in the cr - I assume the amount was scattered out to clients... 5% is required to be a substantial holder so at the time an individual account would have had to of held roughly 50m.

The raise was early/mid 2018, they sold straight off the bat and continuously since then.
Also it should be taken into account that st traders were partaking in the latest blip to 2.1c - it only takes a handful of traders to trade 1m parcels in and out to create 10m volume etc, you also cannot expect them to succeed so they get caught and forced to sell under 1.9c etc

The latest sp pressure cannot all be blamed on Hartleys tho its clear they definitely haven't helped it recover.
Cash was needed and they delivered.. in hindsight it was good timing.

@Chrimata seems to be a fan of Hartleys, maybe he could shed some light
