I think 88E created unnecessary ambiguity by not stating the current depth they were drilling at. If we knew that, we'd know if they'd passed through all of the primary Nanushuk targets.
My guess is they probably have passed through the Nanushuk at the time of the announcement, but left that open to interpretation for damage control until the next announcement re the Torok.
