As a current holder you either sell heads at a loss and move on, or take up the rights. Simple as that. We even had an option to be eligible for the rights, sell previous shares at 0.007, buy them back for the same price and get the free oppies.

You can't make up reasons as to why you should't get involved in the rights - ie believing they were threatening you to take them up.
