You would only go into TH based on Drilling results if you thought the info would be released into the market before you made the Ann, iu.e. it was so obvious that all the crew and supplier s knew.  

So based on the accidental release of information it looks like a 'commercial discovery' MAY have been found.  The only way they would know commercial discovery is if the Hydrocarbons were VERY obvious and in the realm of commercially usable, i.e. same as the other discoveries further north.
