Despite the cheering here, $1.50 is a pretty big discount to recent trading price over, say, the last week. Considering it would be impossible to buy even a few million dollars worth on-market at any price atm Gina gets a very good deal imo. Having said that I’m heartened to see the greater investment from a major mining player whose geos presumably like what they see. Hopefully BM will stop faffing around and get on with a serious exploration programme at a quicker rate ...
A bit surprised that KLA hasn’t made a takeover move on CYL, given their bulging coffers they could offer a 100% premium on CYL share price and not even blink. Still could happen but could be harder now with larger holding by GEV.
Amazed at price action sp far this morning. I thought some retail holders would sell some of their holding into this news and take the 25% disc pro-rata shares to be offered?
