    Yes, it was a bit difficult to know who was being referred to as the sociopath!

    Trump is easier to understand though as a psychopathic leader, rather than a sociopathic leader. He has most of the traits outlined in Snakes in Suits: When Psychopaths Go to Work, an influential 2006 non-fiction book by industrial psychologist Paul Babiak and criminal psychologist Robert D. Hare.

    If you compare Trump's campaign to their five stages of how corporate psychopaths gain power in the workplace (entry, assessment, manipulation, confrontation, and ascension) it's quite revealing. Particularly the techniques to groom people into accepting the psychopath's agenda, and using people as pawns or patrons.
