A reminder and more background on another pending contract - hopefully ours and hopefully soon;
Ironbark No. 1 coalmine for Fitzroy Australia Resources a company with whom Golding has an excellent relationship and a project with which Golding is already involved in early contract work.
The mining lease was approved ( leaving 42 projects in Queensland still at feasibility stage) on November 1, 2018.
Golding was given the ECI two weeks later, with Nepean Mining organised to deliver conveyers and other specialised equipment a week later .
If this organisational alacrity is indicative of a “time is money” attitude we may hear news soon?

.....“Ironbark No.1 comes on top of the 13 committed resources projects in Queensland with a combined capital value of more than $9.4 billion across multiple commodities,” Dr Lynham (Minister for Mines) said.
“Another 42 projects are at feasibility stage, with a combined capital value of more than $65 billion, again, across multiple commodities.
“Queensland remains a global resources investment magnet, as our $56 billion resources sector generates thousands of jobs and business opportunities and royalties to pay for our teachers, doctors and nurses.”
Fitzroy’s assets include some 98,000ha of tenement holding in the world class central Bowen Basin for metallurgical coal.
“Ironbark No. 1 is the first new development in realising the potential of this significant portfolio,” Fitzroy Australia Resources chief executive officer Grant Polwarth said...”
Our ECI here:

.. “The ECI scope is to provide detailed design, costing and project scheduling for the civil and mining services required to develop this mine.
Construction is expected to start in second quarter 2019 should Fitzroy opt to proceed with Golding.
The infrastructure associated with the ECI includes the bulk excavation and stabilisation of the box cut, installation of portals, haul roads, site access roads, dams and associated civil infrastructure.
The agreement follows the safe, efficient and highly successful Broadlea mining project and is a natural extension of the growing partnership between Fitzroy and Golding."
NRW CEO Jules Pemberton said the project showed Golding could provide an integrated solution by combining its capabilities in mine planning, coal mine operation, civil design management, and construction of mine-site civil infrastructure.
