Hence why the rollout for charging points on every corner? Isn't that a waste of money & increasing CO2.
The average driveonly goes 60km's per day so will not need these charge points )your words).
I do like to get a decent cup of coffee which is a 50 k round trip for me..need a charging point with my name on it at the coffee shop that would make me happy as I don't want to drive 5k's looking for a charging point intown & then have to catch a cab to get my coffee.
Remember I got no issue with change, but the data is only showing at best nominally better.
Keep driving diesels (only need a 5 to 10% improvement on efficiency & the electric point is mute..If you plant a few trees would end up again with a zero sum gain as far as CO2 is concerned.
Our carbon sinks are being decimated & we want to fix the world with a band aide solution.
