I agree with having to clean up the Tailings problems, but simply leaving it underground is not a good answer is it? The scarcity of good water right now, especially in Africa, does not need another potential future problem by having acid enter an aquifer.
Many ideas coming along these days, and actual usage.... of graphene filtering of water to remove contaminates. Costs more, but who are we to spread chemicals all across the globe? Just a thought...................
