That's a really good post - I would love to be able to write one which is as informative as yours.
As an old timer who had stock before they had even had any approvals to mine, I remember back to when they did do some mining at Emily Star. So it seems to me that while HGO has mostly been about the giant pit, it has been only about that.
Steve is a man who has grown up doing the hands on. He came to us as mine manager and I can only presume had more junior roles before that. When he came, the operation was all bent out of shape - and now it runs pretty well (given the constraints) and Steve should be able to take plenty of credit for that. So I reckon we are lucky to have him.
I see plenty of near mine opportunity to provide ore to feed the crusher. Even after the divy and the PHES, if they start planning now they really should be able to get something happening before the stockpile runs out. Just need some leadership from the top in order to pull the trigger. No reason to assume that they cannot raise funds if required.
I think Steve would be really good to be in charge of making the next chapter of mining a big success.
