Well said, Acorn and Froggy both. The level of ignorance relating to EVs, battery tech and renewables on this thread is beyond appalling. One wonders where these folks source their research, or whether they have done any meaningful research at all. Clearly, they have no concept of the synergy between renewables and EV/battery tech. And by the way, one of the biggest battery manufacturers 24m has just started to ship solid state lithium batteries to its EV customers, which will double the range of their cars. What the cave dwellers don't seem to understand is just how fast the battery space is moving. And their awe inspiring ignorance can never be drowned out by their relentless banjo playing .
