I agree Cull. It could be nothing more than a continuation of the last months trading pattern. Daily turnover is low for 2 or 3 days in a row. Then on the 3rd or 4th day it surges. Average daily / weekly turnover has dropped considerably during February. Either the program traders are finding it more difficult to make a $ from churning it up & down or they are adopting a new strategy to try & boost returns.
