    I agree.

Green movement has started a ground swell and ostracize anybody who dare question their validity as 'they' are self appointed holders of the high moral ground

Won't matter one iota if I am right or wrong. However as the world is headed into the battery revolution (in which I am invested in).

Look at the number of mega factories being constructed for battery manufacturing & the funds that are pouring in

I can't see how others can call me close minded as this has been the catalyst (not some upstart Car Manufacturer) that is paving the road forward.

A generation or two from now, tech will have improved (Battery density hopefully 10 fold) along with recharge rates.
Ridiculous that I am expected to sit & have a coffee for my car to recharge.

In a world where instant gratification is the norm, it seem OK that car recharge times are dismal.

The biggest increase is to make a bigger charger (now at 800A by Porche).

Stick that on a leaf & see how many cycles the battery is good for.

We need to do more with less, that is progress.

These current batteries are a passing tech (needed now & for a decade or two non the less).

Why kill ourselves economically to get on the next big thing.

EG. If manufacturers kept development of say diesel/ petrol tech for example, a 10% improvement would narrow the difference to being negligible as far as CO2 output.

Wait till people have to start paying to recycle their solar panel as they need to be replaced. Nobody as a cheap environmentally friendly process for this. Yet it under pins our clean energy argument.
