@fatangus - I agree there are many more options now and open source tools are the way to go for many of the framework and d-base items (Postgres, open sql, and many others to choose from).

wherebit gets tricky is on the technically and domain specific items. They are where the secret sauce lies and are very difficult to outsource through a third party. If it was that easy one would ask why th.e integration with ss&c or iress hasn’t worked for them to date. There are plenty of good examples of this including Panorama I mentioned previously.

Some tech imo must reside internally (the core pieces) and it is all a matter of balance - Goldie Lox theory.

i also agree with your views of what they need to do next and that the current direction of the business and the board has not inspiring to that end.
