I agree with you there. We have a beekeeper that leaves hives on our farm and I asked him if he makes manuka honey. He told me he doesn't and that it was a have and whilst it has some antibacterial properties when put on burns etc most people just put it on toast and eat it. He said they may as well be eating clover honey. Still manuka honey attracts huge premiums.
