The acquisition adds apprx 17% accretive Free cashflow for Santos for 2019 & STO have used USD65/bbl POO to estimate this. So yes extra FCF helps in paying a component of the debt this year. Assuming no major dramas with oil price or force majeure events it should b business as usual for STO.
Took them a while to turnaround the SP post the Harbor Offer & Asset sales in Asia & OZ (ole, Kipper, Minerva, Mereenie, Stag etc). I think they'll b more focussed on their Core business assets for now to deliver growth at steady/low costs.
