Personally, my guess, GXY is playing a long game and dance here.
If GXY were to become a chemical company, GXY has the option of:
1) Going with LOHMax and LMax with LPD, or
2) If GXY is partnering with POSCO in SDV based on AT's comments in the conference call, partnering with POSCO with PosLx
What would you do ?
* Declare that you want GXY to be a chemical company and not just a mining company and possibly compete with POSCO, possibly upsetting POSCO who we just have a good starting relationship ? ( It's all about connections in Asia. )
or
* Work with POSCO, partner with them at SDV and possibly use their PosLx tech, grow both together in Argentina. Both are happy. Trust is built. But then, you are in effect competing with LPD, your own investment.
or
* Maybe use both ( without upsetting our own partners ) ???
I don't know personally what I would do. It's a tough call. But that's probably why you have people like AT.
