I hope Steve remembers he is one of NTC’s most important assets because shareholders have paid for his development, provided the opportunities, and for his increasing remuneration over a long period. Shareholders have so far not got much in return for this investment in the cutting edge products he has developed. This it would seem is due to the incompetence of the executives managing the business. Managing the business and developing the technology require a different skill set. We need a leader who does not get seduced by elegant technical solutions to the detriment of the business. Steve now has the opportunity to repay the shareholders by showing the investment community that he has developed technology that provides a strong competitive advantage.
