This brings back bad memories of this stock for me. I found it amazing that on close, single shares would get traded to knock the share price down a pip.. It would trade at 24 cents all day, then on close a single share trading hands at 23 would have it close in the red... Does nothing but make the chart look bad, and just seems like insane activity to me. But I watched every good day of trading like get capped off with a lower close price. I honestly believe this type of activity helped it go down to 12cents at one stage...
The same technique I guess could be used to help the chart look better in a poaitive direction,,, but my only conclusion was that someone for whatever reason wants this stock to look as bad as possible on charts. VWAP for the day tells a better story, 23.99999999 is more accurate than the 23 it closes on due to a few shares traded in the final second... But over a few weeks people only look at open and close on a chart and the downward trend and surmise from that..
It is a clever trick and honestly it does seem to work to take steam out of share price moment, but still I have no bleeping idea what anyone would go to that much effort...
