What surprise are you expecting? Earnings for the first half should be in line with their forecast $800M which is massive for 6months on a $6.5B MC company. That was their forecast and they haven't issued a downgrade warning so I'm expecting a result around that number.
The forecast for the second half will not be as rosy with global steel prices coming off the boil late last year. Even if the second half forecast was reduced to $500M it would still be a great 6 month result for the size of the company and the industry.
