@cfp has also admitted the plant closed because they couldn't make a profit on the copper processing. The price of copper on LME late 2016 was around $2.60/lb and rising, but had been lower earlier in the year. Te price of copper was recently back to $2.60/lb, but now higher.
@ozblue, I did not say that at all, I said the price of copper at the time was low and it was put into care and maintenance, completely different to not being able to make a profit, exactly the same as companies put there gold mines into care and maintenance while the gold price was low, it was a short term fix, so much of what you put in hear is things you have heard, hearsay or from links that dont work, really,
