By law NO broker can prevent you from selling your shares if they are not in escrow. It is whether you want to be known in the industry as a quick profit taker if you do request an early sell. Considering how many shares Melua said he has bought recently onMarket and supported the stock, it would be pretty rude of any broker to "suggest" he not sell. You cannot afford to be fully committed in any company no matter how bullish you are. Trends change, Management change, economies change and you need to ensure your portfolios are appropriately spread.
