I suggest that you stop reading the news. It is written by journalists. Worse than that, the news is published by businesses that make money selling advertising. The news is never good because people who are complacent don't read the news and thus won't buy the produces advertised along side the news..

You might try reading company financial statements. There was a really good one that came out this morning...
