Pfft... you can own a gold miner and get three times the dividend that Newcrest offers. The one I bought into after I sold Newcrest last year has jus announced an interim dividend with an annualised ROI of over 2.8%....and an increase of 40% over the last six months... so you can have both a decent divvie and excellent growth.
