    No Duty

People like the Obeids eventually  go to jail in Australia.  That is the reality of our culture here.

In our country, demonstrated nepotism alone is enough to lose any form of public office.  Officials who openly featherbed government revenue though their own businesses also find themselves in clear breach of the old Crimes Act 1901.  Once a prima facie case is established the responsible director of public prosecutions takes such matters before the courts.

There is nothing fake about Trump's nepotism or featherbedding because it is out in the open.  Jobs for relatives and hiring of owned hotels and golf courses with both US Government funds and foreign government (e.g. Saudi) funds is illegal here.  We would not need to go anywhere near Trump Tower (Moscow) to realise a criminal conviction under Australian law.

What is fake and dishonest are attempts to paint criminally scandalous behaviour as normal and perhaps something to be copied within an Australian context.  Not in this century my friend!
