Yeah,doesn't say what he was doing just before this appointment.
Have they "poached" him from somewhere.The dole office perhaps.
The company announced that it had extensively searched externally for the "right person." They didn't really have much choice with the marauders around, they had to make it look like they are in charge and everything is just,well rosy.
Hopefully this guy is up to the task.
Not that I'm cynical of course.
