That is twice what i was expecting for an initial resource and it was done for $32 per ounce all in. Not surprised if this sort of resource would be worth north of $150 per ounce in Kalgoorlie to a buyer.
The original resource target was for about 450,000oz at 1.5g/t yet the initial resource is 2g/t and it remains open along kms of strike and depth. Myree was not originally factored into the target resource and its already 50,000oz. These are significant numbers. The company is capped at $10m and if you do the above numbers, BC8 may end up having a value of some 5-7 times this by years end if they continue to prove this puppy up. The wild card remains the drill bit. The area is rich and the Myree deposit was a new find.
I reckon the mills around the cats would be watching with interest. You would be mad not to.
The gold goes down to 450m (this is only down to 100m). I reckon this is either heading into production this year or taken out. Nice strong result for a tiny budget and ongoing drilling results is just fine by me. dyor
