Thanks for the reply, I think that sort of arrangement is far fairer to the shareholder, everybody pays the tax, but only at their nominal tax rate, a larger dividend can be paid, so in the end everybody gets taxed at the right rate, the government still get their money, it's just that the shareholder pays it.
I did note that supposedly pensioners and veterans won't be affected by the Shorten proposal?
