They are focusing on revenue, first and foremost. That's what companies at this end of the market need to go on to becoming behemoths.
There's nothing saying that medcan won't be supplying product. In fact quite the opposite. The are paying medcan every quarter over the next two years to do just that. If in the interim we need to outsource supply, then so be it. Sure the profit wouldn't be as substantial but it generates revenue and isn't that what we all want. As pan head said, maybe the facility isn't far from completion, maybe with AKs seed bank there is already growing underway or not far off. Cannabis is a quick turnaround under ideal conditions, 3 - 4 months. They wouldn't of altered their business model without weighing up all the options financially and otherwise. Sure their has been a lot of fluff in the past but at some point they have to produce something concrete or shareholders will bail. You can only take people for fools for so long. I am confident that Sholom, Andrew and the rest of the team are onto a winner. They haven't put in all this work for it to fail.
Of course in 12 months time if nothing substantial has come to fruition then I will reconsider like I imagine a lot others will to but at this stage they have only just recomplied as a MM company and haven't even began trading yet. I am prepared to let the next few quarterlies do the talking.
Obviously if you have doubts then sell out when the opportunity arises. I'm sure there will be plenty of buyers prepared to take them of your hands.
