Accidental discovery of PBT2 as an antibiotic ???, page-2

IMO it is a good possibility that this discovery can get a patent. So there would be kind of ownership problem if a patent is granted. Prana has invested a lot in PBT2 but PBT2 does not work alone, it reverses antibiotic resistance and so it works in synergy with the antibiotics. So this must be patented and most likely patent will be granted ( IMO !) The discovery will solve a huge problem !!!
The universities and Prana should and most likely will  one day get some royalties of this. I am sure some negotiations are going on and soon a patent application will be done. But just my opinion and speculation. Both Prana and the universities need each other, not a time to fight but to make an agreement.
