I don't think I've ever seen another company start mining after so few drill holes. Surely they should atleast release an inferred resource estimate as a minimum from current drilling. I think it would also probably be a pretty small resource given the area drilled and reef thickness. Current mining practice is like high risk gambling imo. Maybe they see it as a last roll of the dice before the $$ run out, I can understand them starting mining McNally's reef from that point of view. Especially if that is what they promised the larger investors in the last raising.
