The sad thing is its a NZ paper that has no national pride is is quite happy to throw another NZ company under the bus at best for shock value or worse for something more sinister. The article thinks nothing of making note that the USA has kicked Huawai to the curb for 5G even to the extent of proposing to ban their frankly quite excellent mobile phone range from American mobile networks.
Don't forget that after nation after nation has rejected Huawai for their 5G networks, TPG was forced to write off over $100m that they have already spent with them. Mr David Mahon fails to mention what retaliation they have in store for the other dozen western countries that have done the same thing but with populations far exceeding tiny NZ.
The only countries to still be using Huawai are 3rd world countries, I struggle to think of any developed nation that is not a dictatorship that use them or are even considering using them.
A crock of steaming BS indeed@blackeyed, I dont think there are any more A2 shareholders left who would be gullible enough to be influenced by such sensationalist drivel reporting.
