Maybe his departure is to blame, investors do become cautious on such news... i too hope he is wrong!!
having said that just a quick analysis of Lithium America... between Feb 2016 to August 2016 they released 2nd phase of DFS, signed a deal with SQM and got funding... their SP went from $1.4 to $5.40 in a matter of 4 months eventually rising to $13 (currently around $4, likely to be the first to rebound as production starts in 2020)... so there is hope, key for LPI is funding & ot structure
