Back to Elizabeth Warren I would like to know what real dirt (if any) our far right friends have on her at this stage.  My understanding is that she is (well-to-do) middle class …….. not wealthy in the US sense of the word.  She was also a Harvard law professor.

I'll add my  criticism of Warren .  Elizabeth Warren is flagging the likelihood of Trump's departure from office prior to the completion of the 2020 campaign but she is wrong to worry about this potential outcome.  A major problem, as I see it from afar, is the desire of senior Democrats to maintain a heavily wounded Trump Administration well into the 2020 election campaign.  This is because senior Democrats don't want to see a revamped Pence Administration taking over and winning credits.  As in Australia, politics aimed at bargain basement voters generally wins out over national interest.

As for Trump.  If he knows he can't win against an opponent we will (with certainty) exit the presidency before or after the race and seek a pardon from Pence prior to the inauguration of a Democrat president.

Knowing Pence to be someone who prays before any decision I'm not absolutely  sure that he would pardon Trump after a Democrat victory is declared.  The Bible says things about stealing and bearing false witness.  As President for a month, Pence would likely just focus on the transition.

In any case I can't foresee Trump sitting in a front or second row at the inauguration of a Democrat president and being "nice".  Subject to what the Mueller report says, Trump will likely  seek to exit with a "deal" earlier on.  Let's wait and see.

    cheers
