I totally agree.

From what I understand China is probably the most far down the road with establishing Lithium partners; but then again it has to be because the G8 has slapped the wrist of china for carbon emissions.

I think this is (for me) the most non discussed factor on hotcopper for lithium. Everyone talks about the DEMAND FOR LITHIUM to make electric vehicles. To be honest most countries won't give a rats behind about that. But they WILL care about being named the ugly duckling in the race to save our planet, and trust me its a sprint not a jog.

Carbon & CFC emissions reduction is the #1 agenda for every major country and will be for the next 25 years minimum. Switching to electric for energy makes the quickest "reportable" fact that Governments can state they are making steps to reduce carbon fuels and "going green" ...

The lithium is just the guy that jumped on the tail coat of what will be an amazing time in our lives for change. I'm told that in the future (this is my job exploring future tech) Electric vehicles/buses/trains/planes will be coated with polymers that absorb light (solar energy).

There aren't words to say how exciting the next 5 years is going to be in this sector. We've all said it before but by the time it kicks off their will be many who want be able to afford a seat at the table. The big bucks will buy big and they'll take us with them like an oyster to a rock.

My second point is Short term. The US indeed doesn't like to be behind in a race but even more so than that they can't stand to be behind China! For that purpose I hope trump gets a second term because although he has failings (numerous) He's a deal making businessman with a huge EGO.... which inevitably will feed our pockets when he decides he wants lithium.
