Hi All    Thanks Carnabombers -Bendigo and Popeye.   I don't hold VRX but know the guys at VRX and am on record as being a strong supporter of their business model. Sorry if I put the cat amongst the pigeons -just trying to make people focus on the real potential of the company which is a high quality silica sand -not construction /reclamation sands.
VRX just have to progress the project and demonstrate they can supply a high quality product at the right price within a reasonable time frame in what is developing as a very competitive market with a number of existing Australian suppliers and quite a few new aspirants.

Personally my focus is construction/reclamation sand which has no present competition. I am one out -my objective is a very high capacity sand export operation in a remote area with a ship loader conveying directly into a Supramax self unloader or a ship loader barge  operation to a Supramax -or one of the new shallow draft ocean going vessels coming on stream.  I already have large Exploration Licences near Derby and more in the system. The whole problem -even for silica sand is transport costs to port -limited port capacities - port costs  and a whole host of other hurdles if we are to capture Asian markets. We need new ports and that is a high priority.  Notwithstanding we are very good at developing commodity markets -we will do it and in 5-10 years will not only be a much bigger supplier of silica sands but will also supply Asia with construction materials which are just about completely exhausted in every Asian country -including China. The current construction sand deficit in Asia is hundreds of millions of tonnes -many big projects are on hold because there is insufficient sand. Check out India on the internet - the situation is dire and M Sand is trying to fill the void.
