Midnight’s following post shows the difference between accuracy and precision.
BBX has no measurements for accuracy or precision, thus what the true grade is, is anyone’s guess. Don’t take this as a negative, the current extraction grades (BBX’s, not Midnights) are high grade for an open pit mine.
Midnight - nugget effect doesn’t just relate to gold nuggets/gold particle size. You can get nugget effect in fine grained orebodies.
Lets say (as you often state) there is no nugget effect, no difference in lithology, alteration, oxidation, all true grades with a decile - then what can be driving such major differences in the extraction recovery percentages (was it 2% to 90+% in your post with the 9 variable boxes?). In my experience, variances in grade tenor is this biggest influence on any type of recovery/extraction.
