Yeah I think you might be right about that, God knows we'll all need weed to cope with all the other damage they plan to do.
But for businesses like RGI having legal recreational cannabis in luddite 'straya would merely be a great addon as they could set up growops like they are doing in Canada.  One thing seems certain at this point and that is that cannabis is in the early stages of worldwide revival that should offer many good investment opportunities.
