I'm pretty happy with the LIFX deal but the residential market is going to be a difficult one to crack. The cost point needs to reduce dramatically so hopefully the increased scale can result in significantly reduced manufacturing costs. maybe there's a place for an ohm mini given the vast majority of us already have a digital electricity meter and many are getting digital water meters too. If there an opportunity to reduce the hardware requirements and become that data platform which would take the data from the meters and add in the LIFX it could be a compelling product. lots of opportunity.
