your phrase "cheapest legal way to dispose of the PASS" nails it.
For too long we've been bombarded on HC with posts from so called experts who tell us they know the landfill industry inside out. All BS. They were hand in glove with the dodgy landfill businesses.
NAG has best practice disposal and distance is no matter if you're the only business offering the service for large volumes.
Doubters worried about the cost of fuel and the environmental damage of diesel particulates in the trips Melbourne to Nagambie return, have to realise they're only one quarter of the damage caused by making and transporting lime.
Also, costs per tonne for disposal are irrelevant if no one else can store it except NAG.
The big question(s) is/are "Will NAG get poorly/illegally stored PASS from other landfills as well as the PASS from the MMRT tunnels". And will they get it BEFORE the tunnel drilling commences?"
