Completely agree. As a matter of fact, it appears that battery powered cars can't perform as well as they should in cold temperatures.

With a mini ice age fast approaching it is imperative that we have an improvement in battery performance to at least equal current performance in warmer weather. In the coming years, as we say goodbye to our hot summers and hello to bone snapping cold, there will be a massive increase in building coal fired power stations. Yes, even here in Australia when our politicians decide to stop pi55ing into the wind.

Our challenge will be to improve battery technology to the point that car makers don't revert back to internal combustion engines. This is a strong possibility if the ice age lasts for decades which is likely, according to eminent scientists.
