The half yearly is at the end of the month. There hasn't been any announcement around profit so you would assume it's going to be around the $800million forecast. So making around 12% of the MC in 6 months-amazing. The second half is likely to be down to some degree as Global steel prices have come off in the last few month however another $1B plus year is assured for FY19 making it 3 in a row. This share price can't be held back forever especailly if they keep up the buybacks.
Maybe those buying into the banks today are freeing up some cash.
