I think they must be looking at what the Labor party will do

The Labor party track record is abysmal - add the Greens into the mix and you have a nightmare

At some point a rational mind will surface and realise that dispatchable power is an obvious essential

Windmills often generate well at night and sometimes in the day

Solar does well when there are no clouds

So if cloudy and not windy what will power the grid?

The Greens will say a big battery can do that

AGL will say that is rubbish and offer its gas plants

Baseload power generation investment is being destroyed by the vast subsidies given to wind and solar

So that investment in new baseload generation is uneconomic but essential

What will Labor do ?

As for the climate change scam that drives the displacement of reliable power

The weather boffins cant predict much more than a week out

How can any of them claim that CO2 will cause global warming a century out

When there is a flood or heat wave or cold spell the faithful say it is due to the Climate Change God

Rarely do true believers stop to consider that there may be something wrong with their logic

I expect the govt of the day to ensure that we have a reliable power grid and not to pander to lunatics !
