Release of a major new product or release into new country falls smack bang into market disclosure rules. Why do you think every time an iPhone is released there is a big dog and pony show. Yes agreed minor releases that are not market sensitive do not need to be reported. On top of that a Release should be accompanied by a marketing drive to maximize impact.
