Playertek was only said to have sold 14k units in FY18 and there has never been any mentioning of recurring revenue nature of it. Having said that, when we see so and so joined playertek on Twitter page, what did that really mean? Did it mean they subscribed and pay regular amounts OR is it they paid for the devices Or both? 

In any case, it's good to see the company is not dropping Playertek altogether and have made it the low end offering for the elites or semi elites. I would be surprised if Playertek+ has made huge ARR.. And even so, it is a form of product cannibalism as low budget teams may choose Playertek+ over the higher end offering. 

Investors get very hung up on profit numbers. Yes, profit is important, but all depends on where the industry cycle is. The whole industry is still fairly immature considering the technology is not really that mature yet (in terms of integration of video and wearables and analytics). Catapult is heading there.. In fact I think Catapult is leading the innovation in the industry whereas I see a lot of copy cats trying to do just video or just hardware wearables. This stage, as much as I want to see profit, if I have to choose between being the global leader and big profits in the future versus getting some tiny profit now and lose out due to lack of market share or slow innovation, I would choose the former.
