Exactly. I also have a feeling that it is also reasonably imminent- release the upgraded resource and not too long after that we could see some action.
For AMI they will have a drilled out resource capable of supporting a 10+ year mine life and can continue with further exploration to scale up production/extend minelife. The market can value Walford Creek properly based on a clear plan to production which should be very value accretive to AMI.
If AML doesn't do a deal they would need to tap the equity market to progress with further drilling and will likely go into the usual development 'orphan' phase.
So would make a lot of sense for all parties concerned to do it sooner rather than later.
